We recognize that if we just try to help kids on Sunday morning they will never meet their full potential. We recognize that we are not the only influence in a child’s life. That is why we use the Orange Strategy:

There are two primary influences in a child’s life: The Church & The Home

The average parent has 3000 hours of influence in a given year. The average church only has 40 hours.

We here at vkids only want to help kids to learn the Gospel, love each other, and to become the Church. So, if we take the above statistic to be true then what would be the best way to accomplish these tasks? We can’t simply focus on what happens inside vkids. We also have to focus on partnering with you, the family. We want to see two voices saying the same thing so we can have the greatest impact. We want to see a true partnership between parents and vkids.

We call this the Orange Strategy. We are joining the light of the church, yellow, with the love of the home, red. By combining the critical influences of the light of the church and the love of the family, the Orange Strategy synchronizes efforts and shows a generation who God is, more effectively than either could alone.
