“Equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12)

Vintage Press is a ministry of Vintage Church that exists to equip the church to live the gospel, serve the city, and be the church through print and digital resources.

We believe in Vintage Press for two reasons. First, Vintage Church will equip the church through Vintage Press because the message we proclaim is not our message but the message of God. God has given us his Word and he wants us to know it and be prepared to use it. Because the Bible is God’s word, it is a valuable tool used so that Christians “may be competent, equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:17).

Second, God has called us not just to know the Bible but also to use it. Ephesians 4:12 says that the function of church leaders is to “equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.” Therefore each and every one of us, regardless of our age, calling, or skills, are called to the work of the ministry. This requires teaching and training.
