Alana Robinette: vStudents Coordinator
What I do
I lead the vStudents Team to execute the vStudents ministry and connect families into the life of Vintage Church.
About Me
I was born in Hammond, Louisiana, but grew up in Montgomery, Alabama. I was raised by two awesome people who taught me about Christ and salvation. I felt the Lord calling me into ministry when I was 16 after my first mission trip to Guatemala. I started Leavell College through the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary right after I graduated high school. I attended the school's Extension Center in Birmingham, Alabama for the first 3 years and then I moved to New Orleans in 2014 to finish my senior year of my bachelors and immediately started my Master’s of Divinity in Christian Education. I plan to graduate May 2019.
My husband, Jake, and I have been married for 2 years. He's just the tops!
My heart is to teach kids & students, equip parents, and to use whatever I have to show others the love of Christ. I love studying human development, sewing, crocheting, knitting, drinking coffee & tea, reading, cooking, walks in the park—I'm basically an 80-year-old woman (if 80-year-old women also enjoy human development . . .).
