About Me

I grew up in small-town Oklahoma, and, contrary to some misrepresentations and misconceptions, did not live in a teepee. I moved to New Orleans in September 2007 to lead music and youth at Grace Baptist Church in the Bywater. After a year at Grace, I resigned to start back to college at the University of New Orleans, and graduated with a degree in Film Arts in May 2010. I married the most wonderful woman in the world, Kaitlin, in January 2010. We have three boys: Nehemiah, James, and Asher.

My passion is to use media to lead people to the Cross. I also enjoy date nights with my lovely bride, wrestling with the coolest little dudes in the world, Apple products, good music, hardcore dancing, grilling out, Tim Burton movies, photography, gauges, beards, tattoos, musical theater, roller coasters, Oklahoma Sooner Football, and running.
