What I do

I lead the vStudents Team to execute the vStudents ministry and connect families into the life of Vintage Church.

About Me

One can learn all they could ever need about me from one short story: I once punched a dragon in the face. Being perfectly honest, it was a very small dragon—a bearded dragon, as a matter of fact. His name was Larry, and now I'm not allowed back into that PetSmart. Suffice it to say, I'm a nerd. I love all things nerd-related: comic books, movies, board games, card games, video games, role-playing games (should've just said games, huh?), puns, tattoos, man buns (although, I prefer the term "Warrior's wolf-tail").

I am a military brat—so I'm from a little bit of everywhere. I spent a lot of my younger years in England. After high school, I served in the Airforce for 2 years, as an aircraft mechanic on the B-1B Lancer. In 2016, I married up and moved to New Orleans. My wife, Alana, and I live on campus at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. This semester, I started Leavell College at the seminary. I am studying Psychology & Counseling and Biblical Studies. My call to ministry is a call to work with Middle and High School aged students, helping them to grow in their relationship with Christ.
