Vintage United Potluck Fest

Our Metairie Campus came into existence through our Gospel Multiplication vision. Over the past 2 years the Lord has shown that this campus is positioned to impact not only Jefferson Parish, but the entire world. We have seen so many people surrender their lives to Jesus, worship Jesus through baptism, Community Groups multiply, a church planting team sent to San Antonio and the starting of the Lakefront Campus. As ONE Church in multiple locations we are all going to UNITE on Sunday, March 3 at 10am at our Metairie Campus to celebrate Jesus’ work through this campus.
An added bonus for this United gathering is that this will be our 1st ever Potluck Fest. Sharing a meal is one of the easiest ways to build relationships with others. There is just something about food that seems to create a welcoming space for listening, talking, and connecting. In fact Luke highlights this aspect of Jesus’ life in his Gospel. This can be seen in that Jesus is either going to a meal, at a meal, or coming from a meal in Luke’s Gospel. For more check out A Meal with Jesus, by Tim Chester.
Meals and food matter; for Jesus they were a mission strategy. He knew that meals bring people close, where they connect, laugh, communicate, reconcile, and grow. Sharing this Potluck meal together as ONE church family is going to be awesome. So invite your family & friends. Bring your lawn chairs, some food and sunscreen.
We need people to bring a dish to share for the Potluck Fest on March 3rd. Here’s the breakdown on what to bring based on your last name:
- A–G: Sides or Salads
- H–R: Main Dishes
- S–Z: Desserts & Drinks
We have a fun day planned. You don’t want to miss it!
