Help Us Love the City This Month

Our past Vintage United Gathering was awesome! We UNITED at Langston Hughes Academy to worship Jesus, encourage each other and send people out to join God’s work. Samuel from our Music Arts vTeam shared his story. Watch it:

We launched our “We’ve Got Your BACK” campaign on Sunday. During the month of July we are collecting backpacks and school supplies for the students at Langston Hughes. The students’ ages range from Kindergarden – 8th grade. Some of the families in the school can’t afford these supplies. This is a great opportunity to love our city and BE the church.

To Participate:

  • Buy a small backpack.
  • Fill it with supplies for the particular age group [Supplies List HERE].
  • Write a message of encouragement to the student about this school year and the opportunity to learn.
  • Label your backpack according to the age grouping [Grades K - 2 or 3 - 4 or 5 - 8].
  • Bring filled backpacks to your campus July 14, 21, or 28.

Our next Vintage UNITED Gathering is August 4th at Langston Hughes at 10am. We are excited to have families and Langston Hughes Academy administration join us for our gathering.
