vKids Impact Maximization

We teach your kids some pretty cool stuff in vKids. For example, we just had a month where we looked at how creative God is and how he made us in his image so we could be creative too, which means that these kids can use their God-given, reflecting, and enabled creativity to share the gospel with everyone and solve huge world problems. Whew, that was a big sentence because these are BIG ideas. Hopefully you know that what we teach each week is important. Hopefully you wouldn’t leave your kids with us if you didn’t. The best way for these Biblical truths to make true impact, affect life change, and hold long-term meaning in your kid’s life is by combining our voice and your voice to say the same thing. Here are three ways we have set up for you to partner with us right now:

vKids Leaders

We have the best team of vKids leaders in the US, possibly in the world. I really think that. These guys and girls are working, in school, parents, leaders in their community, but above all that busy-ness they love God and want to see the Church of the Future thrive. They know that that means partnering with you to maximize our impact. They can be a resource for you. They have been trained in sharing the gospel, speaking to kids in an age-appropriate manner, and showing love through behavior modification. They can also be an encouragement to you. Let them be a shoulder to cry on or an ear to hear how crazy your little bundle of joy can be. Finally, just build a relationship with them. They sacrifice so much to serve one of the most important things in your life. So, learn their names. Bring them a coffee. Write them a note of gratitude.

Parent CUE

Parent CUEs are a great resource that comes from our curriculum for 3yr-olds through 5th graders. They come to you every single week in the form of a half-sheet that is great for the visor of your car, the fridge, or your bathroom mirror. The Parent Cue emphasizes action at certain “times.” By following these simple CUEs based on Deuteronomy 6:7, a parent can make the most of everyday moments to instill faith and character in the heart of his or her child.

ACTION                        TIME                        COMMUNICATION                        GOAL

when you lie down                          BedTime                                     intimate conversation                                            build intimacy

GodTime Cards

GodTime cards are a great way for kids to build the habit of spending time with God and in his Word every day. For 1st-3rd graders, parents are encouraged to participate with the child as a way to model a healthy relationship with the Lord. For 4th and 5th graders, parents can guide, aid and monitor the kid’s progress and encourage good behavior. We encourage parents to continually remind kids why spending time with God is important.

There are four different devotions on every GodTime card, each designed to be done on a different day.

Each day’s devotion includes:

  1. a verse(s) to read
  2. a devotion paragraph that teaches something about God and an explanation of today’s verse(s)
  3. an activity that makes real-life application of the day’s devotion.
  4. a suggested prayer.

Let’s work together to equip and empower the Church of the Future.
