SERVE DAY Details (Saturday, March 21st)
/Saturday March 21st is a Vintage SERVE DAY. Saturday is a great opportunity for you to BE the Church. Join us as we launch out to serve our city. We have 3 sites lined up: Light of Hope (Downtown), BCHS (9th Ward), Freret Neighborhood Center (Freret).
Overview
Volunteers will rally at 8am at Vintage Jefferson & leave for sites. Donuts & Coffee will be served. Volunteers will work from 9am-12:30pm at each site. Lunch will be served at Vintage Orleans (Spanish-American) at 1pm. We will celebrate together.
Where
- Light of Hope: Volunteers will help feed, encourage, and pray for the homeless. Volunteers will prepare sack lunches & visit several sites Downtown.
- BCHS: Volunteers will do some light construction, siding, painting, prayer walking of a neighbor to the health clinic. Volunteers need work gloves & old clothes for painting.
- Freret: Volunteers will do some painting & yard work for a neighbor in Freret. Volunteers need work gloves & old clothes for painting
What
Each volunteer needs to bring a pack of socks. This is the most used supply by Light of Hope ministry each week. We want to help them with resources as they continually love our city.
