Important Information for CHANGED Sunday with Aaron Vogel of District

New Orleans is a great city in the midst of a rebirth. But New Orleans is also a tough city. As people flock to our city, as homes are rebuilt, and new business are started, we are faced with this question: can all of this new life really impact our lives and change our city?

We invite you to Vintage Jefferson this Sunday, March 29th at 9:30am to hear the story of how Jesus changed Aaron Vogel.  Aaron is one of the owners of District: Donuts.Sliders.Brew and District: Hand Pie & Coffee Bar. The impact of the change in Aaron’s life even influenced his view of vocation. As a result, he is now a collaborator in an initiative called “We Don’t Serve Kids” which works in connection with Crossroads NOLA, a foster care advocacy non-profit in New Orleans. This partnership has resulted in Aaron’s newest venture, District: Streetcar which is a new kind of food truck in which all proceeds benefit Crossroads NOLA and foster-care advocacy in New Orleans.

After the gathering, a collection of food trucks will serve food and drinks for purchase. So, come ready to devour some delicious food. As a family friendly event, we have lots of fun planned for kids on this day. BooKoo Bounce is providing inflatables and our vKids ministry will have an Easter Egg Hunt and other games for kids of all ages. We will also be giving away some door prizes which include autographed gear from New Orleans Pelican Eric Gordon and tickets to the Pelicans vs. Golden State Warriors game on April 7th.
