Unveiling the Apocalypse—You Don’t Want to Miss It!

We’re more than half way through our series through the book of Revelation: Apocalypse! I hope you’ve enjoyed it as much as I have. It’s been incredible to unpack such practical truths from the book of Revelation. As we’ve unpacked the book of Revelation together, you’ve probably noticed we’ve not been able to tackle everything. We simply do not have enough time on Sundays to discuss everything.
Enter our next Equip Series—Unveiling the Apocalypse!
In conjunction with our Apocalypse series, we will be having a 4-week Equip Series on Revelation and eschatology (the study of end times). “Unveiling the Apocalypse” will be on Sunday nights—10/22, 10/29, 11/5, and 11/12—from 5–6:30 pm at Vintage Church (3927 Rhyne St. Metairie, LA). Here’s a taste of what we’ll be looking at for this four weeks:
- October 22 – Death, Intermediate State, Heaven, & Hell
- October 29 – Evil (Satan, Anti-Christ, False Prophet), Judgment (Seals, trumpets, and bowls)
- November 5 – Christ’s Return, the Resurrection, & the Millennium
- November 12 – Final Judgment & the New Heaven and New Earth

I’m also very excited to be hosting two experts on the subject of Revelation and eschatology. We will be having Dr. Rhyne Putman, Associate Professor of Theology & Culture, as well as Dr. Gerald Stevens, Professor of New Testament and Greek, both from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Both of these men are incredible scholars who are well versed in the book of Revelation and eschatology. I’m excited to have them join us.
