Letter from Pastor Rob

Vintage Metairie Family,

As you know our Metairie Campus on Cleary Ave has received some damage from Hurricane Isaac that has made it unusable for our gatherings.  We are in the process of praying through some different options as a result of this damage.  In the meantime we have been seeking out some other locations to host a gathering that is both strategic for our future and wise for our resources.  God has answered our prayers for the next month.

Our Hope in Grief

Our Hope in Grief

Our Vintage Church family is grieved by the loss of a dear friend, Edmund Kee. He had been apart of Vintage Church from our beginning in the fall of 2007. Yet one decision radically altered my heart and changed my entire experience as a college student. That decision was deciding to plug in to a local church.

Was the Resurrection Needed?

Was the Resurrection Needed?

Last week Pastor Rob kicked off the conclusion to our “In the City. For the City.” sermon series. Vintage Church has spent the past 2 1/2 years walking through the book of 1 Corinthians. We have finally made it to 1 Corinthians 15 where Paul discusses the importance of Jesus’ resurrection. Last night I had the opportunity to meet with my community group and talk about the resurrection. I started our time together by asking, “what do you know about the resurrection?” That quickly led to the question of “why is the resurrection important?” That led my group to ask why the resurrection was important to salvation.
